My best friend's baby boy!

I've been in trouble for not updating the blog this week, and also for not putting up some photos here of the new baby in my life.

My best friend Alicia had a baby boy on Tuesday morning, Oliver Benjamin. He weighed 2.7kgs and was 45cm long. I was lucky enough to meet him on the day he was born, he's just so tiny and gorgeous and precious and, and, and...oh, he's just amazing!

I'm just so happy for Ben, Alicia & Charlotte....and can't wait for more cuddles!!

Some scrapping...mmmm, what have I got to show you, let me see....

This is a photo of my old boss Michael, who passed away last year. I've been putting off doing this layout as it was a hard one for me, but its done now. I still miss him. :(

And baby Bronte having a good old chuckle at her big brother Cooper, pretty crappy photos but a precious moment to have captured.

Don't forget this weekend is the November 'Remember' Cybercrop over at Scrapbook Savvy! Challenges will be launched from 6pm Friday night and are open for nearly a week. Lots of time to play along, with lots of prizes and store credit up for grabs.

Photobucket

Hope to see you there!!

A great week has been and gone here, I've trained each day with Savvy Health & Fitness and am feeling much better about things, its amazing what a bit of exercise and healthy eating can do to one's self esteem. I lost 0.9kgs my first week back at Weight Watchers, I thought it would've been more but I really shouldn't complain!! Apart from that the usual going ons, crop days, swimming lessons, teething babies...its all happening! Will be nice to hand the girls over to my mum tonight and have a relaxing night with the girls at the Savvy Crop, I can't wait! We still have two free spots for anyone local that feels like joining us. :)

I'll be back soon with some sneak peeks for the upcoming December kits...they're amazing!! :)

Weekend Layouts

Well I've kinda sorta been a little bit productive this weekend, doing three layouts at the Scrapbooking Delights crop on Friday night and another last night with my friend Juz here scrapping with me! Gotta be happy with that eh, any page done is one less to do... ;)

This one is Sketch #5 over at 52 Sketches 52 Weeks, loving all their old sketches and have printed them ALL to do at some stage!

And another, Sketch #2 using a glimmer mist splatter that I am just in love with!

Then this one is a just because about my beautiful friend Marijana. Mwah!

And the monthly kit challenge at Scrapbooking Delights, me and my Em, using one of my mum's gorgeous handmade flowers that will soon be available for purchase in the Scrapbook Savvy store, and are already available for local girls.

I have decided this week that we're going on holidays in January, after tossing it around for awhile I've just bit the bullet and started looking. DH had a bright idea that we could just stay at home and relax....but he seems to forget that my work is at home, and if I'm here then I'll be working! So we need to get away, and seeing as he has a month off over xmas and Cooper starts school in February...its the perfect opportunity and we'd be mad to not take advantage of that. The Gold Coast is looking really good to me, just waiting for a few email replies on accommodation. I can't wait! :)

I have just told my friend Linda who is due on 9th Jan that she better go early, I don't want to miss out on meeting her new bub on the day he or she is born! ;)

Thats it from me, am gathering tax papers so we can do a tax return and hopefully be able to PAY for a holiday! Thats always the bad part, eh...

Bye for now,
Sar

Layout Share

Here's a few randoms I did while at Peta's retreat!!

I've had a great week, starting with some good old fashioned taking care of myself. Back to Weight Watchers and I have also joined Savvy Health & Fitness who have group training sessions at the beach, an awesome way to start the day at 6am each morning. Loving it so far, but am feeling a tad sore! Good sore but... ;)

Looking forward to crop night at Scrapbooking Delights tonight, Hayley has managed to find a free Friday night to come with me, can't wait! Happy Birthday to Hayles for Wednesday just gone too, hope you had an awesome day! xoxo

Teresa Collins - Documented

This range isn't a BRAND NEW release, but one that I've had a lot of requests for so have ordered in over at Scrapbook Savvy.

I did a page with this range from a kit I purchased from Scrapbooking Delights, the layout and instructions were created by Lisa Warren.

Here's one of the papers I used and now have in store, along with others:

And here's my layout:

If you'd like to purchase some of this awesome range that helps you to document all those important things we NEED to write down for our children and their children, you'll find them here!

IB Sketch #35

Don't miss Inspired Blueprints first sketch for November, Sketch #35:

Our sponsor this month is E.A.D. Designs who have the most gorgeous rubons you've ever seen. Mine are featured in this layout, the brackets next to the photo.

The gallery is rockin' at IB as per usual, make sure you head on over and check it out!

52 Sketches...52 Weeks

I found another sketch challenge site called 52 Sketches...52 Weeks when reading Georgia's blog...great to have some more inspiration, I can't get enough of sketches! They're so great when I'm having trouble getting starting, or when I'm feeling slightly lacking in the mojo department! ;)

Here's a couple of pages I created from 52 Sketches...52 Weeks while I was at the retreat:

Sketch #39

Sketch #40

Sketch #41

And this one, the only page I managed at Savvy's Friday night crop!
Sketch #42

I'll definitely be heading back to this site again to use some of their old sketches!

My birthday has come and gone this week, another year older and only one more year till the big 30! I had a great week, starting with retreat, then friends over for Melbourne Cup, then crop day Wednesday, then my birthday Thursday. It all went downhill though when Georgie got sick on Thursday afternoon, and we got a phonecall halfway through watching Time Travellers Wife at the movies. I was so disappointed, I've been hanging for this movie to come out since reading the book years ago. Luckily it was only a 24hr tummy bug and Georgia was back to normal on Saturday. Here's a pic of me and the kids (well two of them anyway, Bronte was already in bed) with my gourmet Woolies cake on Thursday night, LOL!

And Friday night crop, the gorgeous Deslie made cupcakes and they made me blow out the candle (about ten times to get the right pic!!) and sang happy birthday. I'm so lucky to have all these girls in my life, we have so much fun together at the Savvy crops.

Time to go, screaming baby calls, bye for now!
