Jillibean Soup excitement!

So stoked to see a page of mine over on the Jillibean Soup Blog in the Soup Spotting post!!

AND a Scrapbook Savvy mention to boot!! Awesome, right?!!

While we're talking Jillibean Soup, here's two of my pages using the NEW Game Day Chili Range which is ON SALE along with the rest of the Savvy Store at the moment with 30% off storewide!

I've also used some awesome custom cut WOW chipboard, ordered at my LSS Scrapbooking Delights.

West Devils of my boy & some of his team on Presentation Day, also using some Purple Pumpkin buttons and Lil Somethin' embellies.

A closeup of my journaling as well as the chipboard title which I've inked and then outlined with black pen to make it 'pop'!

Wests vs Dapto - an action page of my boy on the field. Another great WOW title which I've left bare other than the outlining with black pen, and then dimensional magic'd to give it some texture. I've coloured in the football brown as well to make it look more realistic.

A happy day here in my scrappy world...last night I had my friend Kristy (another VLDA Mum) come over and buy some goodies to get started on her own scrapbooking journey, LOVE sharing the scrappy love! And tonight my bestie Linda is coming over to eat yummy thai food and scrap the night away with me while my hubby is away camping with the kids. Love my life, and even though I'm missing my family while they are away its SO nice to have the company of good friends while they're gone.

And to top it off, I'm heading to the Hunter Valley tomorrow afternoon once the family returns with my little girls to visit Peta & Meah and the other kids...before a five day trip to Melbourne and scrappy retreat with all the VIC girls and my beautiful cuz Donna next weekend. I can't wait!

Like I said - LIFE'S GOOD! Hope yours is too xxx

Kerryn's Retreat Class Layouts

FINALLY (only six months later!!!) I have sat down & completed the two layouts from Kerryn's Savvy Delights Retreat Class from September 2011. I LOVED working on both of these layouts, and the instructions were just so super clear that I had no trouble doing them on my own.

Here is a look at the Class Kit which is usually $35 in the Scrapbook Savvy store but RIGHT NOW only $24.50 ON SALE until the end of the school holidays.

Yikes - Emma & Bronte all dressed up at San's 2010 Halloween Party. I love the spiderweb drawing on the background, and couldn't believe how easy this was to do with Kerryn's instructions!

Closeups galore...firstly of the journaling...

...then the coffin & skull, a super cool technique in the step by step for the 'webs' on your coffin...

...then the layering in the clouds...always LOTS of layering in Kerryn's work which I just LOVE!

Monster Alert - again at San's 2010 Halloween Party but this time of my Cooper boy all dressed up in his knight get up.

Closeup of the journaling and layered title, so much detail in these layouts which just makes everything *pop*!

There is SO much product in this kit, I am planning at least another two layouts with the leftovers (and there is actually instructions included in the kit for both layouts PLUS a card and OTP project).

My March Savvy CC Layouts

Tonight is the last chance to upload your layouts in the gallery for our March Cybercrop which began last Friday! Its been a fun CC with even ME finding time to do a couple of layouts!!!

I hosted the Blind Scrap Challenge on Sunday night, basing my layout around a page that I'd done using a kit from SFS, of Bronte's 3rd B'day Cake made by my friend Deslie.

While I gave the girls the instructions, I decided to create another layout using my own steps...and came up with something that looks the same, but different...and another layout done for the albums! This is Georgie waiting for Cooper at school pick up time...I don't know how many time I've said 'stop hanging on the rail' in the past two years!! I used another SFS kit for this layout - the Amy Tangerine Kit which is now on sale for only $25.

With only a day to go, I did Tara's Sketch Challenge in a flash last night, it took me less than 45mins from start to finish!!! The sketch looked like this...

Here is my take using the remnants from my March You're Savvy Kit which I've just about demolished! Me, at my Eighth Birthday party...

Can you tell which one I am?! Can you believe I still remember each and every friend in that photo, makes me smile :)

I hope you had time to join in with the Cybercrop fun this month, there are always lots of Savvy prizes & spending money to win...and any reason to get another layout scrapped is a good one, right! See you in the Savvy forum soon, we've just released our April Challenges too...always something happening!
