Jinxed it...

Its now 4.31am on Monday morning and surprise, surprise, I am up! Bloody Georgie and her teeth, I'm so over it....she has one big top tooth coming through and another one next to that. I would give anything right now for a full night's sleep...I'm so tired and just not coping with it...

Fingers crossed I'm back in bed soon.

No love from me,
Sar

Scrap Update

So I've had a fairly productive few days, starting on Thursday with a scrap day. Hayley & I got together and got a bit done, I was stoked with my four page effort for the day!

I started out simple, cause I knew that if I procrastinated for too long I'd waste the whole day. This is a page of Cooper aged 15 months, down at the farm doing what boys do! Very simple page, took me no time at all but I was still happy with the end result.

And this one is my two babies looking adoringly at eachother, they have such a special bond that I hope stays with them forever.

And my boy's first school photo...well, preschool anyway. He was only around 12 months old here, had been going to daycare for about two months. Still had the odd bad day, as you can tell by him crying in the group photo...and the fact that his individual photo was taken the next day cause he was too upset on the first day! Classic, love those photos where you can show them later in life just how big a sook they were...ha ha... ;)

And here is today's effort. Total scraplift from me, pinched the idea from a LO in the latest Scrapbooking Memories mag, changed some things, especially the colour scheme, but still. I love it though, and I'm stoked with how it turned out. My tiny little brand new baby...where has she gone? Won't be long before there is another tiny one like this in my house...can't believe I only have 14 weeks to go! Where does the time go...

Goodnight from me, I have been staying up WAAAY too late and really need a decent night's sleep....now that I've said that, fingers crossed those two teeth coming through don't keep Georgie up during the night!

Cheers,
Sar

Kindra's Challenge

So we have a new challenge for the month in our little group of scrappers, each of us has to pick a technique and we all have to do a page using each technique. So my first one down for the month is Kindra's challenge, which was to use freehand doodling.

This is a page of Miss Charlotte, my best buddy Alicia's daughter who is just beautiful. I started this page forever ago but didn't quite know what to do with it. I found it again yesterday and thought I really should finish it off, so I did. Didn't take me long this afternoon and I'm pretty happy with the end result.

Wonder whose challenge I'll try next?

Cheers,
Sar

Finally a scrap day!

After a very busy January and not quite as much scrapping as I would've hoped, February has started well with a scrap day at Alicia's yesterday. In between over-clingy kids and me being stressy, I still managed to get two pages finished. Love the first one of Georgie, can't believe how chubby she was!

The second one is sooo basic and really doesn't have much on it, but the girls convinced me that I tend to just keep going and going with my pages and thats why everything takes me so long...so I ended up leaving it as it was! Happier with it now than I was, but still not 100% sure....

Lets see if this week can bring more scrapping, I've finally gotten my house under some control so if I keep it that way I may actually find time to do something! Plus Georgia is at daycare on a Friday now so that actually gives me a day free (for three months anyway!). Last Friday I just wandered around the house not knowing what to do...this week I think I'll use my time much more productively!

Talk soon,
Luv Sar
