Tara's Easter Cybercrop Challenge

Can't believe I've actually done all the challenges for our Easter Cybercrop....since when does THAT happen?!  I don't know whats going on, but I'm not complaining.... ;)

Tara's Challenge this month was a Recipe Challenge and you had to include the following items on your layout:

* ONE black and white photo
* Washi tape
* Banners
* A punch or die cut element

I searched and searched for a black & white photo in my kits, and lo & behold found this one....in a kit from way back when I went to a retreat in 2009!  Could not believe this was the kit I pulled out...anyone who knows me understands just how many kits I have here half used and I love the 'lucky dip' and seeing what I get...but this scared me!  But anyway, a challenge may as well be challenging eh?  So off I went on my scrapping journey and was actually REALLY happy with what I ended up with!  Was interesting scrapping with OLD product but NEW techniques....old is new again it seems!

Masquerade...

A closeup of my journaling and a super cute embellishment from Charms Creations.  This also shows my punched element being a strip just under my title that I've attacked with a border punch...

My banner, and washi, and a big spray of mist for effect!

And I just had to show this....when I punched my strip there were hundreds of little dots that punched out and were left on my desk....so I dotted some glue on my background and chucked them on!  Love how this turned out...adding to the dotted effect of the mist, but with some dimension.

There is still time to play along with our cybercrop, all the challenges are over on the Savvy Blog and you can upload to the gallery for your chance to win before midnight Thursday 4 April.

Time for this scrapper to head to bed, goodnight!
