Feb CC Challenge's @ Savvy

Can you believe I've actually sat down and completed a couple of layouts using the other Savvy girl's challenges this cybercrop?!  Nope...neither can I!  But really truly I did, I had my girls here to scrap on Tuesday and managed two layouts...both of which I am really happy with for a change :)

Both of my pages are using some of the gorgeous embellishments from the SOLD OUT We're Savvy Kit just released last week, and some papers & flowers I picked up to match from my LSS Scrapbooking Delights.

Sara's Challenge was a Colour Challenge which you can see here.  My take is a layout of Cooper from our QLD holiday back in 2011, called Golfer Dude.

Cluster including journal tag, flower, sticker tag and a Flair button with twine wrapped around and stapled...

My title over a super cute Studio Calico Frame...

And Tara's Sketch Challenge which was just perfect for this set of photos featuring Bronte and her Poppy on her 3rd Birthday.

Loving the alpha that was in the kit, just HAD to keep one of these packs for myself *love love love*

Journal strips are always an easy way to include your story when you have no room left for a journal tag.

New fave, flair buttons, will definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for more of these!  Over the top of my Eb-inspired texture paste...

I haven't had a chance to do Kerryn's challenge yet but I'll be doing this one even after the deadline is up, just for fun!  An awesome new challenge idea called a Word Puzzle Challenge - be sure to check it out here.

There is still time to play along, you have over 24hrs to put your layouts up in the Savvy Gallery for your chance to win some Savvy spending money!

  1. Love these, Sar! The texture paste effect looks great! Might have to find out more about it ;-)
