End of May Approaches...

...and I haven't blogged since the 21st of April.  I do.not.know where that five weeks have gone!

I have lots to show you but will have to spread it out, otherwise we'll be here all day!   Since my last post I have been to a retreat in Melbourne with a bunch of awesome chicks, so lots and lots of pages done there.

Other than that, life is its usual crazy busy-ness...with lots of dancing for my girls & rehearsals & practices as eisteddfod season is now in full swing!  Last weekend saw VLDA smash the new Entertainment Troupe dance at Illawarra Flame, with our kids bringing home 2nd prize with a MASSIVE circus dance performed for the very first time.  Here's my Georgia monkey reading to join the circus...

Our Under 6 Troupe also did a fabulous job, also getting 2nd prize.  Well done baby girls!

This weekend and next we have solo's...Georgie is performing her Demi-Character for the first time as a skunk and Bronte is performing her ballet for the first time...a VERY big week for us!  They are both so excited and I can't wait to see them on the 'big stage' once again.

Cooper & Dan are loving their footy seasons with both rugby league & rugby union playing a part.  Training two days a week and playing two other days a week...its full on!

My own world is a bit chaotic, with my priorities coming second (or third, or fourth, or even fifth some days!).  I have not been focussing on my healthy lifestyle regime as much as I would like to, but am doing my best to get back into it and fit it in with everything else.  Sometimes, there is just no extra time!  But I will continue to fight, and live the best life I can lead under our very busy circumstances.  I need to commit more time to my scrappy business, whilst still being a working girl three days a week.  This is my life...

If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it. The more things you do, the more you can do.  ~ Lucille Ball
Onto some scrappiness - as the end of the month approaches so do the deadlines for the sketch challenges at both Purple Pumpkin and Stuck Sketches!  In case you haven't seen them, here they still have two days to get them done...

And my take, my gorgeous little nieces Chloe & Molly a couple of Xmas' ago using our sold out Merry Savvy Traditional Kit released in Dec 2011 at Scrapbook Savvy.
And a closeup of my journaling and gorgeous embellies from A Lil' Somethin' and chipboard from WOW which I've coloured in and inked to suit...

Will be back soon with some more to be writing myself a list of blog posts and tick them off as I go!  Happy scrapping peeps xx

  1. Gorgeous pages Sar! Are you doing the 52 week album thing this year?

  2. Yep! I've done a few pages (i'll share soon) but haven't actually got an album yet...luckily with the facebook technology I have photos of at least SOMETHING each week to use when I do get around to scrapping it!!
