She's Savvy Layouts

OMG - this kit is TO DIE FOR! I love it, so very pretty and girly and oh! I could go on...but instead, I'll show you what I've managed so far. :)

Pink Ribbon Crop - Week 32 for my 52 Weeks album, about our Pink Ribbon Charity Crop held last month.

Shoot For The Moon - one of the 'quote challenge' pages from Peta's retreat.

Mwah - An old photo of Bronte kissing a Strawberry Shortcake Doll, tongue and all!!

Ready To Learn - Georgie at her first dancing lesson, I've added the 'Tiny Dancer' title at the top which I've held onto for AGES just for this photo. :)

Cake - Another old photo of Bronte from Chloe Condon's 1st Birthday, gorgeous messy girl. With this page, I was not happy with the brown cardstock I had left...so threw some paint on it and dabbed it dry with a tissue, and ta-da!! The cardstock base now suited my photo!

If you would like one of these beautiful kits of your very own, head over and grab one...and while you're at it you will be able to enter our random kit challenge for the chance to be our next Savvy Guest Designer!

See you in the store. :)

November Kits!

Its 12.06am on November 1st 2010 and the new kits are now available over at Scrapbook Savvy in the new arrivals section. I have been lucky enough to play with them ALL WEEKEND at the SFS Branxton Retreat and have done so much, loving the value and once again getting the most out of my kits. Here's a quick look first at all the kits in their entirity, without the beautiful photoshopping from Sara this month as funnily enough, she was at the retreat too! Which was a complete surprise, and totally wonderful! Was so great to spend a bit more time with this beautiful friend of mine. xoxo

We're Savvy - our super VALUE neutral kit, this month comprising some BG Pyrus, Lily Bee Catching Fall and lots of other bits & pieces.

She's Savvy - an amazingly pretty kit with a mix of Pink Paislee Sweetness & LYB, anyone with girls of ANY age will love this kit so much.

And He's Savvy - a rarity this month with subs being out of control. Numbers WILL be upped next month, I promise!

I'll be back with another post with kit pages, really soon!!! Thanks for looking!

I {heart} SFS!

I love Scrapbooking From Scratch SO MUCH in fact that I'm driving three hours to get there and spending three nights while I'm at it! Can't wait to spend some time with my beautiful friend Peta and all the Hunter girls. I reckon there will be a lot of laughs...I can feel it in my waters! Two more sleeps, and I'm there baby! And Donna arrives tomorrow....its all happening!!!

Speaking of SFS, here's a couple of blind scraps I've done recently.

I've used the new OA Seaside range for this one...and for a non beachy page, so thats a bonus!

And the latest one, again using the OA Seaside. Peta threw me by putting a circle flower in the steps....I just couldn't make it work with my page about footy gear! So I kind of went off on my own little tangent and ended up with this...

See all you 'sheepish' Hunter girls soon!

LIfe Is Good

...in more ways than one...

- My wonderful husband and his team came 3rd at the National Mines Rescue competition in QLD on Friday, and are now spending a few relaxing days on the Gold Coast and are watching the V8's today.
- Two sleeps till he gets home, the kids & I are counting down.
- Three sleeps till my beautiful cousin Donna arrives!
- Four sleeps till Peta's retreat!
- Just spent a couple of hours with my friend Linda.
- Spent the whole weekend with Emma, thanks for all your help chick.
- It looks like I have myself a 'real job' and start work after my b'day.

And as well as all this, a weekend of rainy weather means I've been scrapping! Funnily enough, I've been going to town on the Echo Park Life Is Good range of papers and omg, I am IN LOVE!

Here's just a couple:

At Home - Miss Bronte on her 2nd birthday cutting her cake. :)

Who Would've Known - the last photos taken of Georgie before she had her accident last October which resulted in her losing one of her front teeth. :(

So Lucky - Kaz & Molly at Belmore Basin on Molly's 2nd birthday, with our gorgeous Wollongong scenery in the background. This one is a scraplift from a layout in the current Scrapbook Trends magazine. :)

These pages make me happy, I hope they make you happy too! Till next time. xoxo

Poor little We're Savvy...

...sitting here all on its lonesome, only poor little lonely kit left, can you give it a home? Its very yummy and looks like this:

And for only $25 - with over $30 worth, you can't beat it for value! Grab it here.

Here's a couple of pages I managed with this kit. First one from a Wiggles concert a while back now.

And this one of me & my girlfriends at the Fire Brigade Xmas Party last year. I love that you can still create a page and a memory from a yucky blurry iphone photo!

A busy day here:

- Total outfit bought for my party (dress, shoes, bag, hair thingo, jewellery)
- Visited San
- Home for a lovely visit from Kelley
- Out again to shop for halloween costumes
- School pick up
- Park with my boy
- Off to post office and a coffee (again, with my boy)
- i98fm to pick up the $100 voucher I won yesterday to Steel Wok restaurant!
- Preschool pickup

And then home for the usual dinner/bath/bed rush and reading with my boy. We are currently reading a chapter of Beast Quest together a night and he is absolutely loving it!

Some peace and quiet here now, but I'm thinking I might take myself off for an early night...another big day tomorrow!

Which mag?

...is your favourite?

I buy ALL the local Aussie mags by subscription for the business - Scrapbooking Memories, Scrapbook Creations & Creating Keepsakes. I enjoy reading these and love to see the names of lots of my online (and real life!) friends being published.

I have to admit though, my most favourite magazine is the US Scrapbook Trends magazine (which I'm currently stocking in the Scrapbook Savvy store). Not so much advertising and omg, the photography of the layouts is to absolutely die for.

To say I am inspired by these layouts is an understatement - I literally drool over this magazine. I decided to scraplift one of the layouts in the current mag, and it turned out like this...

Let me know if you're keen to get a hold of this magazine yourself, like I said, its to die for!

October 15th @ Stuck

Halfway through the month means another sketch over at Stuck?! Ok, I know its a few days past the middle of the month, but things have been kinda crazy hectic here!

The new one looks like this...

And my take, using some of the new Bo Bunny Whoo-ligans paper that I picked up at Scrapbooking Delights.

We'd love to see your entry over here at Stuck by the end of the month for your chance to win some awesome prizees from our sponsors!
