August Kits @ Savvy

SO...due to once again having the NEWEST of new product in our kits for August....we haven't quite got all the stock available on time. The international post service advised me yesterday that my parcel would arrive on Monday. BUT, I am releasing kits for sale at midnight tonight as planned....with a sneak peek of the product I do have already (and nearly a full image for She's Savvy). You will be able to see the list of product that you will receive in each kit should be able to tell from the ranges we've used whether you will like it (which I have NO DOUBT you will as Sara has done a FAB job putting this month's kits together!).

Don't forget RETREAT GIRLS to get your kits so you've got something yummy to play with, without the stress of having to organise your page kits yourself.

Here's a sneaky look at what your kit will have this month...

He's Savvy - you can see some of the product here, but please remember that the MAIN paper range is missing (but consists of blues, greens & oranges).

She's Savvy - this is such a pretty kit than any girly scrapper will fall in love with!

We're Savvy - now this is the main one we have trouble with, as so far we have NO papers on hand. BUT let me give you this hint...if you're a Sass Lass fan and have been waiting for one of their newest ranges to hit the store, then this kit is for you! :D

Don't forget to get a sub if you want to guarantee your choice of kits! Otherwise, see you in the store at midnight tonight!!

Stormy Sunday Arvo...

I headed downstairs this afternoon to 'clean the scrap room' and instead I got distracted and did this...

A layout for Cooper's album, just because I felt like scrapping and this was the page kit I pulled randomly out of the bag.

There is actually still a couple of these He's Savvy kits left in the store if you like the look of it. :D

Another DELIGHT-ful Crop!

Had a great night with San & the girls at Scrapbooking Delights last night, and very successful for me with four layouts completed!!

The first two are blind scrapping challenges from SFS, #56 and #57.

And these two, just because using page kits I'd put together forever ago!

Its so nice to just spend times with friends at our crops - chatting, laughing and generally just having fun and time out together. As the conversation went the other night at our dinner table:

Cooper: Dad, are you going to work for two hours?
Dan: No Coop, 10 hours.
Cooper: Well do you know when Mum went to Sandra's the other day she worked for 14 hours!
Dan: (cracks up) Thats not working, Coop! Thats just like you going to Clays for 14 hours!
Cooper: So Mummy had a play date with Sandra?
Dan: Yep!

Thanks for another awesome play date, San! ;p

Halfway through...

...the 52 weeks album now, can you believe it! Even if I have accidentally done Week 24 twice! *insert eye roll here* ;)

Week 24 (again) about my family & I watching Masterchef, using the new Echo Park papers.

Week 25 about all the birthday parties we have to attend with these kids of ours and their very busy social lives! I've used the Sold Out July He's Savvy kit for this one.

And Week 26 of me & San at Bel's retreat. A huge weekend and such a big job in taking the entire store away for the weekend, something I couldn't have done without San's help, I'm so lucky to call her my friend. I've used the July She's Savvy Kit, there is still just one MINI kit in this range available in the store.

Am still loving the challenge of getting this done and catching up each time I get photos printed, honestly can't believe I've stuck with it as long as I have. Here's to the next 26 weeks!! :p

Class with Kim Arnold

I had an absolutely awesome day yesterday at Scrapbooking Delights, doing two classes with Kim Arnold using two gorgeous new ranges - American Crafts Dear Lizzy and Jillibean Soup, both available now at Scrapbooking Delights.

Here's what I ended up with, all just stunning pages that I'm so happy with.

First off our morning class with Dear Lizzy, such a pretty girly range and perfect for these photos of my beautiful Georgie girl.

And then our afternoon class using the gorgeous colourings of Jillibean Soup.

And then some more with the class kit leftovers, which I did at the Delights Crop last night....yep, a HUGE day at Delights with us being there for over 14 hours!

Thanks San & Kim for a great day!!! :)

Couldn't resist...

...playing with the New Echo Park today at crop, the Walk In The Park range was just screaming out at me to be scrapped with! So I did. :)

I had an AWESOME day with all the girls, and the kids had a blast as well. Thanks for coming and can't wait for the next School Holiday Crop, my kids haven't stopped talking about how much fun they had. :)

I'm never drinking again...

...ok, well maybe not for a few days anyway. ;)

Had a MASSIVE night for my friend Nicky's 30th....but I have now decided to end my new found friendship with riesling...I really don't like you afterall. :p

After spending the entire day in bed (and some of it hugging the toilet!) my stocktake plans for Savvy with the help of Emma fell no progress there for me unfortunately. But tomorrow is a new day. :)

Some scrapping I still haven't shared from Peta's, these are all the ones I've done using the Sold Out We're Savvy Kit for July. LOTS of 6x12 holiday pages, had so much fun getting through some of these.

And just to prove to Peta that I COULD scrap a full 12x12 page using these every so bright papers, this one... ;)

Nothing like some bright & cheery scrapping to brighten the cold Winter days! Hope they've brightened yours too. :)

Nearly time to go home...

I'm having a lovely relaxing time in the Hunter Valley with Peta and the kids have had an absolute ball, BUT our trip will soon come to an end and we are leaving at about lunchtime for the drive home. :(

I have scrapped up a storm while I have been here though, and here's what I've managed so far with the Sold Out July He's Savvy Kit.

The current Stuck Sketch, don't forget to enter for your chance to win some awesome sponsor prizes including one from Scrapbook Savvy. :)

My sample for the current kit challenge in the Scrapbook Savvy forum, head over and join in to be the next Guest Designer and win a FREE KIT!

Sketch #50 over at Inspired Blueprints, am loving playing along at IB just for fun. :)

The current sketch at Scrapbooking From Scratch which Peta MADE me do while I was here! *insert eye roll here* ;)

And this one of my crazy boy in the Yo Gabba Gabba get up at Aunty Kaz's place...just PERFECT for this range with a few extra bits thrown in for good measure. What a clown!

Enough for now, be back soon with some We're Savvy pages that are just screaming Summer and making me wish that Winter would hurry up and finish!

Where Do I Start?

Its been a while between blogging and I've had a few messages from friends asking when I'm going to update! Sorry guys! I've had a lot going on including unpacking the shop from retreat and setting everything back up in store, July kit release at Scrapbook Savvy which went really well with all three kits sold out on Day 1, end of financial year stocktake (which still isn't done, eeek!!) as well as some other drama in my life which is now finally over and done with. I'm finally feeling a sense of ease and things can only get better from here. :)

Currently I'm sitting in the Hunter Valley, waiting for Miss Pj to get home from work and join me for some scrapping...I have all of 7 kids at the moment and they're being amazingly well behaved and amusing themselves! Thought I'd take the opportunity to FINALLY show you some of the pages I've done recently.

I'll start with my retreat pages, which are pretty much randoms just for fun, the kind of scrapping I like best.

A couple of holiday layouts...

Cooper decorating the Xmas tree last year, and I made a point of not using traditional xmas colours for this page! Love the end result.

Bronte have a sausage sandwich, cute girl.

And me & Cooper on the trampoline, using a kit from SFS.

Some AWESOME scrapping news for me too...check it out here!

I'll be showing off my pages that got me accepted just as soon as they're shown over at the Stuck site. :)

Thats enough of an update for now, I'll be back real soon with my kit work. Hope the school holidays are good to you!
